Where the extract places them
Almost every located pet in our client extract sits in Verteron or Altgard. A smaller set is also listed in Chaotic Lower Reshanta. Eltnen, Morheim, and later zones are not in this reward extract. Aion2Data's map mentions a few pets there. If your pet is missing here, check that map and mark our row unverified.
Raid Relay ranks camps by how many pet monsters stand within 50 m, from the Global client on 14 Oct 2026. The busiest are Eternal Isle in Verteron (55) and Fafnite Deposit in Altgard (57). The full ten-camp table is on locations. MetaBot counts distinct mounts in a zone instead, so its numbers will not match. Both are single-source spawn reads, not kills we timed.
Same-level kills
Elite Grind Lab reports that a same-level kill dropped a soul about once per kill in their play, and that grey-name monsters drop souls much less often. That is a playtest note from one site, not a rate in the reward table. The table we extracted lists 1% on the named monsters. Both can be true if the 1% is a client weight and the real rate scales with level. We did not re-test it.
Missing areas and missing souls
Some rows list drop monsters and no area, because the source page jammed the next heading. Those locations are unverified. Some pets have no reward-table source. A few are flagged as unreleased maps. Special pets have no soul item at all.
We do not ship an interactive pin map. Aion 2 Atlas plots 637 points for about 152 field species. That map is more complete for pins and less complete for the full 207-pet list. Use both.
